Announcing Bob Whitley’s Book “Attorney On Call – Lessons from a Life in the Law”

Bob Whitley has learned many things in his long career in the law. He shares these valuable life lessons in his new book, “Attorney On Call – Lessons from a Life in the Law,” putting his experiences in perspective.

Bob discusses how to handle your personal injury cases based upon his 43 years of experience, including wrongful death, car and truck accidents and product liability claims.

His life’s work is to help people fight injustice. He grew up working a paper route and later in North Carolina’s tobacco fields – hard work is in his blood. He started his career in domestic and criminal law, but soon switched to personal injury to be more involved with the people he wanted to serve.

Appreciating the uniqueness of every client is of utmost importance, and the firm takes pride in having family-type relationships with their clients.

Anyone can study the law, but the advantage Bob offers is the service he gives to his clients and to try to get a positive outcome as hard as he possibly can.

A family affair, Bob works alongside his sons Robert Whitley, Jr. (Whit) and Benjamin (Ben) Whitley. Their motto is, “Ask others about our reputation, ask us about our experience.”

Located in Charlotte, Durham, Greensboro, Greenville, Jacksonville, Kinston, New Bern and Winston-Salem, the Whitley Law Firm serves eastern North Carolina.

Bob earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, and his B.S.B.A. from East Carolina University. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar and is licensed in federal court.

He is also a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, American Association for Justice and North Carolina Advocates for Justice, where he was a past member of the Board of Governors.

Bob has received an AV Rating by Martindale-Hubbell for over 20 years; this rating evaluates the legal abilities and ethics of lawyers, reflecting the confidential opinions of Bar and judiciary members.

He is also a life member of Multi-Million-Dollar Advocates Forum, and was included in the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in North Carolina by The National Trial Lawyers.
