Before diving into plaintiff-side personal injury law, Barrett Johnson spent a decade as a defense attorney. This experience provides him with a unique and valuable perspective that he brings to our personal injury practice. Throughout his legal career, Barrett has demonstrated a commitment to justice and client advocacy. His passion for justice was first ignited during his high school years. During high school, Barrett began learning Spanish while working a part-time job.
His compassion and ability to speak Spanish led his Spanish-speaking coworkers to seek his assistance with personal challenges. While helping his coworkers, Barrett saw firsthand the immense consequences that can follow misunderstanding a bureaucratic process when he witnessed a coworker’s distress from receiving a letter denying his application for a permit to leave and reenter the country that would have enabled him to visit his ailing mother in his country of origin.
Barrett’s transition from defense to personal injury law is motivated by a passion to help those who have been wronged and to ensure that they receive the compensation and justice they deserve.
