He earned his undergraduate degree in Government from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, and later completed a Master’s degree in Public Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Holden received the Leary and Joy Davis Leadership Scholarship to Campbell University Normal Adrian Wiggins School of Law and graduated in 2020. This scholarship is awarded to one highly-qualified applicant with the potential to become a leader in the law.
Throughout his academic and professional career, Holden has consistently focused on serving others. He spent time working with the North Carolina General Assembly and later served in the Johnston County District Attorney’s Office while in law school. Holden found his true calling in representing individuals who were harmed through no fault of their own and needed someone firmly in their corner.
Along with the Leary and Joy Davis Leadership Scholarship, Holden has been recognized for his dedication to leadership and public service as the recipient of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Awards and the Harvey B. Morgan Public Service Award. While at Campbell Law, he also served as the President of the Student Bar Association.
