Benefits Provided by the Social Security Administration

In order to first apply and be eligible for Social Security Disability benefits, a person must be considered “disabled” under the conditions listed by the Social Security Administration. Once these terms are met, a person may be able to receive all or some of the benefits that the SSA offers.

The following are several types of benefits awarded by the Social Security Administration.

Supplemental Security Income

Many people who are partially disabled or unable to provide enough income to support their family may be eligible for Supplemental Security Income. This is a type of benefit that is paid based off of the current income by a potential recipient.

The Whitley Advantage isn’t just one thing – it’s everything.
