Whitley Law Firm’s New Lawyer Telana Poe Sworn In to Court with Support from 3 Superior Court Judges

Whitley Law Firm is proud to announce that we have welcomed a new attorney to our firm, Telana Poe. Telana is a recent graduate of Campbell University School of Law and is passionate about upholding the law in the pursuit of justice.

Poe was sworn in by Honorable Paul Ridgeway, Senior Resident Superior Court Judge from Wake County. The motion to admit Telana to the bar was made by Whitley Law Firm’s own Attorney Ben Whitley.

Members of Whitley Law Firm family had the honor of supporting Telana Poe at her private swearing-in ceremony at the Wake County Justice Center alongside some of Telana’s most valued mentors. As a law student, Telana Poe completed a clerkship for the Honorable Paul Ridgeway, during which she had the privilege of working alongside two other Superior Court Judges: Honorable Tom Lock, Senior Resident Superior Court Judge from Johnston County, and Honorable Brian Collins, Resident Superior Court Judge from Wake County.

Poe’s experience working with such distinguished court officials has allowed her to “develop a sharpened sense of case judgment”, an advantage that will benefit her clients as she helps them navigate their claims.

The Whitley Law Firm has been eagerly awaiting this day, as we know Telana Poe will be a valuable asset to the firm and a fierce advocate for her clients. Choosing to work in injury law because of the personal nature of the cases, Poe has said that her ultimate goal as an attorney is to “do right by people”. She intends to work hard to ensure that each of her clients receives the care they need and the justice they deserve.
