Whitley Law Firm is an essential business, and we understand that legal matters can require
in-person meetings. Our Raleigh and Kinston offices are open, but we have heightened safety  precautions to do our part in minimizing the spread of the COVID-19 virus and protecting our  clients, team members, and their loved ones.

Face coverings are required, and temperatures are checked upon entering our offices.

We  have enhanced our cleaning procedures, and hand sanitizer is available.

All virtual alternatives, such as over-the-phone free case evaluations, video conference  mediations, secure electronic signing, and wire transfer disbursements are still available.

COVID-19 Screening Questions

Our team will ask you these questions prior to scheduling an appointment and upon arrival at the office:

  • Have you or anyone in your household had any of the following symptoms in the last 21 days:
    • Sore throat
    • Cough
    • Chills
    • Body aches
    • Shortness of breath
    • Loss of smell
    • Loss of taste
    • Fever
  • Have you or anyone in your household been tested for COVID-19? If yes, have testing results been received?
  • Have you or anyone in your household traveled in the U.S. in the past 21 days? If so, what states have you visited?
  • Do you have reason to believe that you or anyone in your household has been exposed to COVID-19?

We ask that if you answered “yes” to any of the questions above, if you or a member of your household is sick, or if you have otherwise been  exposed to someone who is sick, please refrain from coming to our offices and instead utilize  the aforementioned virtual alternatives.

How will these precautions affect my case?

They won’t. We are still working around the clock for you. Your case manager will be communicating with you via phone and email, so be sure to add your case manager’s contact information to your address book to avoid missing important updates.

Please note that since our team was working remotely for a few months, we are still catching up on that workload and may take slightly longer to return your call. Rest assured, we are still committed to delivering The Whitley Advantage and are working diligently on your case.

How do I sign my documents?

We utilize a secure electronic method to sign documents.

What about my settlement?

Settlements will be disbursed through wire transfers. Please monitor your email and be sure to add your case manager’s contact information in your address book to avoid missing important updates.

How can I contact you?

To reach us, use the Live Chat feature on our website, send us an email, or call us at (919) 785-5000.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate through these unprecedented times. When Whitley Law Firm first opened its doors in Kinston in 1975, we didn’t even have a typewriter. Now, we have the technology to keep the wheels of justice moving while being mindful of our health and safety during a global pandemic. If you need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
